Why Choose Shockwave
Non-Invasive
Drug-Free
A powerful alternative to cortisone shots or surgery. Reduces pain, inflammation, swelling, and muscle spasms.
No Downtime
While some patients may experience mild soreness, one can usually return to normal activities immediately after your 5–10 minute session.
Restarts Healing
It "wakes up" chronic injuries by stimulating a process that triggers cellular repair, new blood vessel formation, and collagen synthesis.
Fast Results
The first few visits 'wake up' your body’s healing response and modulate pain. Many patients report significant improvement in pain & mobility within just 1–3 sessions.

Shockwave Therapy
Fast results in less time!
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive medical treatment that uses high-energy acoustic sound waves to stimulate healing in chronic, stubborn, or injured soft tissues.
How it Works: A handheld device delivers acoustic waves (not electric shocks) to the affected area, stimulating tissue repair, accelerating metabolism, and inducing new blood vessel formation.

Common Conditions Treated

Chronic Neck Pain and Degeneration
Shockwave stimulates blood circulation and triggers the body’s natural regenerative processes to repair underlying damage rather than just masking symptoms. Clinical studies show significant improvements in range of motion and long-term pain relief.

Knee Pain & Osteoarthritis
Shockwave therapy shows significant improvements in mobility and pain relief, often outperforming traditional injections for short-term recovery. It works by increasing local blood flow and stimulating essential healing factors, such as stem cells and collagen, to address underlying inflammation and stiffness, significantly reducing knee pain and improving joint function in patients with osteoarthritis.

Achilles Tendonitis
Shockwave therapy is a proven, non-invasive solution for Achilles tendonitis that uses acoustic waves to stimulate tissue repair and increase blood flow to the tendon. Promoting collagen production and breaking down painful scar tissue, it significantly reduces pain and restores mobility in both mid-portion and insertional cases.

Shin Splints
Shockwave therapy effectively treats shin splints by reducing periosteal inflammation along the tibia and stimulating the healing of the bone-tendon interface. This treatment allows athletes and runners to resolve chronic lower leg pain and return to activity much faster than rest alone.

Post-Surgical & Injury Scars
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy acoustic waves to break down fibrous scar tissue, improve elasticity, and enhance mobility, particularly for post-surgical, hypertrophic, and keloid scars. By mechanically disrupting dense collagen fibers and stimulating new tissue growth, it reduces stiffness and prevents excessive scarring. This process helps restore natural range of motion and improves the overall appearance and maturation of the skin.

Lower Back Pain and Sciatica
Shockwave therapy is a proven solution for chronic lower back pain, significantly reducing disability and providing superior pain relief compared to traditional conservative care. By improving microcirculation and reducing inflammation, it helps alleviate the nerve irritation and "giving way" sensations often associated with sciatica

Hip Pain & Bursitis
Shockwave therapy is a highly effective, non-invasive solution for chronic hip pain and bursitis, with clinical studies showing up to a 91% success rate for musculoskeletal conditions. By stimulating deep circulation and breaking down painful scar tissue, shockwave therapy addresses the root cause of greater trochanteric pain syndrome and hip tendinopathy. This treatment offers superior long-term functional improvement compared to traditional injections, helping you return to activity without downtime.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive solution for mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome, significantly reducing pain and improving hand function. By stimulating nerve regeneration and improving microcirculation, it helps alleviate symptoms and restore grip strength without the need for surgery or injections. Clinical research shows it provides lasting relief and functional recovery, making it a powerful alternative to traditional treatments.

TMJ Pain
Shockwave therapy is a highly effective, non-invasive solution for TMJ pain, boasting success rates up to 91% for musculoskeletal conditions. By breaking up restrictive adhesions and stimulating deep tissue repair, it restores jaw mobility and reduces inflammation at the source. This treatment provides rapid relief while promoting the long-term structural healing necessary for lasting comfort.

Cellulite & Skin Smoothing
Shockwave therapy addresses cellulite by disrupting the restrictive fibrous tissue responsible for dimpling while stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin for smoother, firmer skin. By improving microcirculation and breaking down underlying adhesions, it restores natural tissue elasticity and structural health . This non-invasive treatment promotes deep cellular regeneration, offering a visible improvement in skin texture and tone without downtime.

Shoulder Pain, Frozen Shoulder, Calcific Tendonitis
Shockwave therapy offers a non-invasive alternative to surgery for frozen shoulder and calcific tendonitis by breaking down restrictive scar tissue and painful calcium deposits. These acoustic waves stimulate deep circulation and cellular repair to restore range of motion and significantly reduce pain

Plantar Fasciitis and Heel Spurs
Shockwave therapy is a highly effective, non-invasive treatment for plantar fasciitis that provides significant pain relief and functional improvement with success rates up to 80%. By stimulating new blood vessel formation and reducing the thickness of the inflamed fascia, it promotes actual tissue healing and breaks down painful calcifications. This advanced approach allows patients to avoid invasive surgery or injections while restoring normal walking ability and comfort.

Trigger Points and Muscle Pain
Shockwave therapy targets painful "knots" or trigger points that cause referred pain and restricted movement throughout the body. The acoustic waves release these tight bands of muscle and improve microcirculation, providing deep relief in areas where manual massage often cannot reach.

Tennis and Golfer's Elbow
Shockwave therapy is a highly effective, non-invasive treatment for tennis and golfer’s elbow, boasting success rates up to 91% for chronic cases. By stimulating new blood vessel formation and collagen synthesis, it significantly reduces pain and restores grip strength without the need for surgery or injections. This advanced approach promotes lasting functional recovery, helping you return to your favorite activities faster. Imagine tennis elbow relief without surgery!
What To Expect
The Treatment
A gel will be applied to the skin. The head of the instrument will be guided across the area of treatment. You will hear tapping as the sound waves are being produced.
The Sensation
During treatment, you will feel a rhythmic, "prickly" tapping or pulsing sensation. While it can be slightly uncomfortable over tender areas, the intensity is fully adjustable to your comfort level.
Will It Hurt?
Most patients describe it as a "therapeutic ache" that signals the device is hitting the source of the problem. Areas with more damage can be more tender but the intensity can always be modified.
After Treatment
You may feel immediate relief or a light "soreness" similar to a deep-tissue massage for 24–48 hours. The length of this soreness is a determining factor for time between treatments.
